Le Fioux Refuge (1500m), St Gervais
An alpine farmhouse with beautiful panoramic views from the terrace
A beautiful traditional farmhouse that was restored in the late 90s. The interior is clean and simple but comfortable and is easily accessed from St Gervais or Les Houches.
There are 24 beds available consisting of 2, 4 and 6 people sharing a room. Bathrooms are shared and hot shows are available for a small extra charge.
Accommodation can be booked on a half-board, B&B or bed only basis; please contact the refuge directly for this season's prices and opening/closing dates. Bedding is provided but for hygiene reasons you are obliged to bring your own sheet or sleeping bag liner.
The refuge does not offer kitchen facilities, however lunch is available and picnics baskets can be provided on request.
The shelter is open from May until September. There are limited camping spaces around the refuge.

Directions
The shelter can be accessed in several ways:
- From Les Houches, take the Bellevue lift and follow the track to the Col de Voza. Continue toward Bionnassay, following signs to the shelter. This should take approximately 45 minutes.
- Take the Mont Blanc tramway from St Gervais to Col de Voza station. Walk in the direction of Bionnassay to reach the refuge. It should take 15 minutes from the station.
- By car from St Gervais take the road to Les Contamines, after 3km, take the route to your left through the Bionnay village. Then follow the road towards Bionnassay. Park in the Croza car park. Then walk for 15 minutes in the direction of Col de Voza to reach the shelter.
