2. Kids' snow camp & ski lessons

Piou-Piou club is part of the French ski school. The French ski school in Chamonix provides more than just ski lessons!

Children’s clubs are held at the Le Savoy and Les Planards nursery slopes, where the French ski school also offers its own crèche facilities. Between ski lessons, children are cared for in a warm and cosy environment by qualified and friendly staff. They’ll enjoy lunch and take part in a variety of fun indoor activities.

Alongside the gentle beginner pistes, the ski school also has its own snow garden - a playful area where children can find their balance and build confidence in complete safety.

4. Kids Club & Entertainment

The Kids' Palace is a place open all winter and during the summer holidays. They appreciate that every child is unique and, as such, offer a variety of childcare packages including an early evening session allowing you to enjoy some Après-Ski!

With a wide range of entertainment on offer, you can rest assured that your little ones won't want to leave! They will enjoy plenty of activities including cooking workshops, sledge races, hiking, board games, magic shows, movie nights and video games to name just a few.

Given that each child is different, and their needs and desires vary according to their age, La Folie Douce offers different packages for skiing and/or childcare only.

The Folie Day | Open from 08:30 to 17:00 | Childcare only

  • Ideal for children that don't want to ski. Includes lunch at La Petite Cuisine.
  • Price per child: €45, from 4 to 12 years old.

The Folie Ski Day | Open from 08:30 to 17:00 | Ski & childcare

  • drop your children off and the activity leaders will get them ready for a morning on the nursery slopes. The lessons are provided by ESF instructors. After their morning lesson, they will be brought back to the hotel and have lunch at La Petite Cuisine.
  • Price per child: €95 for Piou Piou (age 4) and €90 for Stars (ages 5-12).

La Folie Kids Apres-Ski | Open from 17:00 to 21:00

  • entertainment, movies, magic shows and games followed by a delicious dinner at La Petite Cuisine
  • Price per child: €30

A typical day:

08:30 - the activity leaders welcome your children. Depending on the package chosen, they then go to ESF classes (taken directly from the hotel) or participate in one of the many other activities offered
12:00 - all the children meet at La Petite Cuisine where the menus have been adapted by their Chef, Franck MISCHLER, to satisfy the small gourmet palates with homemade and seasonal menus
14:00 - they are ready to hit the snowy mountains again for more adventures or resume their activities
16:30 - snack time
