1. Mountain bike hire

Located on the main road out of Chamonix and leading up the valley towards Argentiere, you can find this branch of Intersport just after the Albert 1er Hotel, and just before the MBC micro-brewery.

During the summer months, the shop offers a range of bikes for hire, including cross-country, downhill, road, and electric bikes. They also have bikes available for children.

You’ll find a wide selection of accessories and protective gear, and there’s a bike wash available too.

2. Mountain bike hire

Location
Chamonix

Located close to the Aiguille du Midi lift in the centre of Chamonix, this is a large shop of 250m2 dedicated to renting and selling mountain bikes. They also have a workshop for repairs, plus they have a handy bike wash to hose down your ride after a day on the trails.

They renew their fleet of bikes every year, so you'll always ride the latest models. You can hire e-bikes, enduro bikes, trail bikes, fatbikes, XC bikes, road bikes and children's bikes.

If you're on holiday with children, the shop also provide baby seats for free or you can opt for a kids trailer. They also rent out children's bikes, trailers, fat bikes and electric bikes.

The shop also has it's own private car park, making it super easy to pop in!

Their workshop has a good reputation in town and is able to handle all your maintenance and repairs if you have a bike of your own.

The shop can also organise mountain bike tours or day trips with qualified MTB guides.

During the winter months this shop turns into a snowboard specialist and is the perfect place to go to get all the latest equipment.

3. Zero G

This is a bike and snowboard shop located high in the French Alps, in the resort of Chamonix. They're service-orientated and strive to make you happy. They speak English, Swedish, Italian and French and their priority is to get you out on the trails with the best possible kit for you & your wallet, as fast as they can.

In the summer, they’re a major Specialized outlet, offering e-bikes, enduro bikes, gravel bikes and road bikes for sale, along with clothing and protective gear.

In winter, they carry snowboards and winter clothing for sale.

Everything you know from these brands, and a whole bunch more, is available at the store. They're the primary core rider / skater / biker hangout in town year round, and they're the place other shops send people when they need anything unique, like custom-machined parts, hard-to-find screws or even obsolete or out-of-date binding spares. They have the lot.

They also have a year-round workshop which is second to none in the valley, be it for fixing a torn-out snowboard edge, or fixing a stuck bottom bracket on a mountain bike.
