Le Chaudron Restaurant
Traditional specialities served in this atmospheric restaurant on Rue des Moulins
Located on one of the oldest streets in Chamonix.
Originally a stables for the mules that took the first tourists up the mountains, this restaurant has retained many of the original features giving it a traditional feel and a cosy atmosphere.
The menu is typically Savoyard with lots of fondue and other cheese dishes to choose from as well as the daily specials. They also serve a good selection of meat dishes, such as thyme roasted lamb or wood smoked Black Angus rib eye steak with a shallot sauce.
Run by a Franco/Italian couple, they have a good wine list, mostly French, but with a good selection of Italian wines as well.
Open daily, evenings only.
