Step into the Void & Summit Terrace Closed

The Compagnie du Mont Blanc has decided to construct an extension to shelter the entrance to the “step into the void”, located at the summit terrace of the Aiguille du Midi. This extension will provide better comfort to our guests visiting this new attraction. This project is essential in order to allow winter openings in good conditions.

Therefore, access to the summit terrace will be closed from the Sunday 12th of January in the evening to the Saturday 1st February in the morning. As a result the “Step into the Void” will be closed to the public.

All the other visit sites at the Aiguille du Midi will remain open for you to discover: the Espace Mont-Blanc; Espace Vertical; Espace Histoire etc
