Quicksilver & Roxy Launch Boardriders Snowcamp

Quicksilver & Roxy are launching a unique boardriders snowcamp, a week of ski and snowboard coaching in February 2012 right here in Chamonix.

Going off the success of the existing surf coaching camps in Hossegor and skate camps, Quiksilver and Roxy have come up with a long awaited winter version.
The boardrider camps will be coached by team riders who are at the top of their disciplines. For the snowcamp this means on the Quicksilver side of things there will be Markku Koski who is a previous World Big Air Champion, James Stentiford who is coming up trumps on the wold freeride circuit. Also the Charlet brothers, true Chamonix locals and top Freestyle and Freeride pro riders. Whilst the Roxy team will be fronted by the likes of Margot Rozies, Lena Stoffel, Basa Stevulova and the Australian backcountry skier Andrea Binning.
So for anyone looking for a holiday in Chamonix who wants to take their riding to a new level then this is trip for you.
There are two one-week courses to choose from and are available to both skiers and snowboarders (male or female) over 14 years of age who have already reached a decent level.
On the program will be freeride, freestyle, backcountry as well as the educational aspects such as security awareness, avalanche training, crevasse rescue and glacier evaluation.
What's more the accommodation, transfers, meals and equipment all inculded. The Quiksilver & Roxy snowcmaps will be held on February 12th -19th and February 19th-26th 2012.
