For the first time ever, the 2012 North Face Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc will be broadcast live on the organisation's new Web-TV channel. This is the 10th anniversary of the event which takes place every year over 4 days in and around the Chamonix valley.

This year friends and families of the 6,000 runners from 73 different countries will be able to follow all the action live online over the course of the weekend and in two languages - French and English. Programming is set to include non-stop live coverage starting with the Traces des Ducs de Savoie race at 06.00 on Thursday the 30th of August, going right through until 20.00 on Sunday the 2nd of September. Alongside the live coverage will be presenter-led news reports, regular updates, live press conferences, and race specific features such as athlete profiles and training.
