Savoy beginner ski area and lifts

Nursery area with two drags lifts and a magic carpet close to the town centre

featured in Lift pass offices & lift stations Updated

The Savoy is a small area at the bottom of the Brévent gondola, very close to the town centre of Chamonix.

There are two short drag lifts - the Samaran and the Savoy plus a magic carpet to help the children in ski school. The terrain is very gently sloping, so it's a great place to learn to ski or snowboard.

Directions

In the winter bus SKI 14, SKI 17 and route no 10 takes you to the bottom of the Brévent gondola where you can walk or ski down onto the beginner area.

If you're not that confident yet, it's easy enough to reach on foot either from behind the Folie Douce hotel or via the paths leading through the apartments off Rue Joesph Vallot.
