Cosmo Jazz Festival 2016 dates announced

Dates for this year's Cosmo Jazz Festival, now in its 7th year, have just been announced. This year's event will be taking place from 23rd to 31st July 2016.

Cosmo Jazz pulls in a crowd of around 35,000 visitors over 10 days, and it's one of the highlights of the summer, with concerts taking place on the mountain tops and in various venues around the centre of Chamonix.

Although the concerts are free to attend, if you want to catch one of the mountain top performances, you will have to buy a summer lift pass.

For the full programme of this year's event, you'll have to wait until the 24th May when an announcement of all the artists and locations they will be playing around the valley will take place.
