A new bus service has just started serving Verbier from Chamonix in February 2011 and an increase in buses going to Courmayeur means all the resorts on the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass can now be accessed by bus.

The new service to Verbier will run every Thursday, with pick-ups from Chamonix, Flegere, Argentiere and Vallorcine before and arriving at Le Chable cable car which takes you up to Verbier. Departing from Chamonix at 8.00 am and a short snooze later arrives at Verbier at 9.45 am. The return bus leaves at 5 pm from the drop-off point, means you can enjoy a full day skiing in Verbier.

Whilst Chamonix already enjoys the bus routes over to Courmayeur, the service is being ramped up to five journeys per day for this winter compared to three previously.

Both these buses require advance booking, the Courmayeur bus is free for those with a MBU pass or €20 per person return however the Verbier bus is priced at €22 per person return regardless of your ski pass.
