Chamonix Summer Lift Openings 2016
The first wave of lifts open this weekend in Chamonix
From Saturday 11th June the first wave of lifts open for summer in the Chamonix Valley.
Lifts at Le Tour, Brevent, Flegere and the Bellevue in Les Houches open on Saturday as well as the Tramway du Mont Blanc.
From 18th June the Prarion gondola will open in Les Houches and from 22nd June Les Bossons chairlift opens for views over the bottom of Les Bossons glacier. Grands Montets opens on 25th June and finally the Vallorcine gondola opens on 2nd July.
Be advised that there is still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher walking trails and mountain lakes.
