Tramway du Mont Blanc reopens
Service will restart Friday December 30th
The Tramway du Mont Blanc, one of the most popular attractions in the Chamonix valley, was closed last Friday December 23th over strike action. But it seems like all parties have reached an agreement on essential services and the Tramway will be reopened tomorrow, Friday 30th December.
Four services will run per day until a more stable solution to the disagreement among Tramway's workers is reached: 09:00, 11:00, 13:10 & 15:10 from Le Fayet to Bellevue, and 10:00, 12:00, 14:10 & 16:20 from Bellevue to Le Fayet.
These are great news for all visitors to Chamonix's valley looking for alternative activities to keep them entertained due to the current lack of snow.
