This mountain lodge enjoys a great location, just meters from the ski bus stop and the local train station, and only a short walk to the town centre. It has recently been refurbished and now sports a smart new modern interior.
La Chaumiere's 25 rooms are comfortable, practical and really cater for you and all your equipment! All the rooms have fantastic views, either of Mont-Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons or towards Brevent, part of the Aiguilles Rouge range.
They offer spacious double and twin rooms as well as three or four bed rooms for families or other small groups and many have their own balconies. WiFi access is available throughout the hotel.
The local bus stop that runs to all the ski area is just 50 metres from the hotel as is the train station which has a regular service from St Gervais through to Martigny.
The Bar
The relaxed bar area offers everything from après ski through to aperitifs and digestive tipples! It is a comfortable, welcoming room that also doubles as a living room. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long day on the mountain. Here, you can share your stories, browse through their library of books and games, or simply sit back and enjoy the views over a well-earned drink.
The Restaurant
Central to the hotel's concept is excellent food. Their menu offers international classics with a local Savoyard touch. Their half board package includes a generous breakfast buffet and three course dinners. During the high season they also serve à la carte and take away lunches.
